Meet Dr. Jennifer
Jennifer Splitt, DDS
Welcome to our practice! I’m Dr. Jennifer, and I want everyone to feel at home here. It is our mission at Lemont Family Dental to welcome you with warmth and eagerness. We want to know each and every person entering our practice personally, and for you to feel that you are our priority. We have a genuine care for your comfort before, during, and after your visit.
Education and Experience
Before I became a dentist, I received my BS of Mathematics from Creighton University in 1986, and my DDS from Loyola University of Chicago School of Dentistry in 1990. Afterwards, I completed the General Practice Residency Program at Hines VA Medical Center in 1991.
Although my required education is finished, I know that the only way to provide the best services to my patients is by continuously learning the newest technologies and most advanced procedures. That is why My post graduate dental education has included:
- Misch Institute Implant Program in surgical components
- Fellowship status at the Misch Institute
- Fellowship and mastership in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists
- Hornbrook Institute for advanced training in full mouth rehabilitation
- Advanced training in sleep apnea
I have been a dentist for the past 20 years, and love my job so much that I cannot imagine doing anything else! The fact that I help people regain or keep their highest level of oral health and ultimately their total health is so rewarding to me. Giving someone their smile back is the ultimate joy for me. I get to work with ladies who are compassionate, kind and are fun to work with. They energize me to continually strive for excellence through my work and education.

Our patients are the focus of our practice – we are grateful to have such a unique and wonderful little community! Outside the Office
When I am not in the office, I love doing anything and everything outside! I put over 1,000 miles on my mountain bike a year. I also enjoy walking my dogs, skiing, waterskiing and kayaking. When I’m not outdoors, I’m usually reading a good book or cooking up a storm. One of my all-time favorite activities, though, is driving around in my 1966 red Mustang named Sally. She’s a beaut!
